 Preconception Care

As your OB GYN doctor, we really want to be aware of your existing health habits and future goals. Obviously, we would also like to know if you are trying to have children! Therefore, a good step to take before you try to get pregnant is to schedule an appointment with us and let us know that you are trying to conceive. We can discuss some methods that could increase your chances of conceiving, as well as some important preparatory steps for pregnancy.

During this appointment, we will get your complete medical, family and gynecological history and discuss any pre-existing conditions you may have, any medications you are currently on, and your lifestyle. We will most likely recommend prenatal vitamins because the folic acid in these vitamins are extremely vital to healthy fetal development.

If you are considering having a baby and you would like to be better prepared, call today. Having the right information can help you make the best choices. We would be glad to answer any questions you have, and schedule an appointment for you if needed.
