Meet our new Physician Assistant, Joni Brown, who joined our practice in November of 2009. She is originally from El Dorado, Kansas, and most recently practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So far, she loves the warmer weather we have here in Austin, and feels so blessed to be a part of the Hill Country OBGYN family.

She has a heart for women of all ages and a passion for women to live healthy and whole lives. She is available to fill in for the doctors when they are called out unexpectedly Additionally, she is seeing routine appointments, including Annual Exams, Birth Control Options, Vaginal Infections, Menopausal Symptoms and Incontinence Concerns.

Joni is a 2008 graduate of Wichita State University with her Physician Assistant master degree. Prior to PA school, she was a college basketball coach and athletic trainer for 10 years. Other degrees include an Exercise Science master degree from Wichita State University and a Biology bachelor degree from Ottawa University. Her other interests include getting involved with area service projects, education on women’s health topics, sporting events and being connected to a local church.
